Purple? Coloring with Mireya!
I'll tell you a bit about Mireya. To begin with Mireya works at her peaceful home in Brooklyn New York. I think it's funny because she can make her own food or go to the lake on lunch hour without her boss being mad at her, but guess what, she is her own boss too! She taught me that teachers are important because they help you get through life, like helping you add money and divide numbers. Let's look at it a diffrent way, so without teachers we would not be able to count the correct number of money to pay for a cheeseburger. Meanwhile we would be paying five dollars for some 25 cent Now and Laters. She said There is a difference between art and design, specifically my idea is art is showing your personality or voice. Design is like you must make this and make it this way so it can be perfect.

Mireya said that she likes paper better than a computer because you have that freedom to spell and draw whatever you mind can think of, and a computer corrects you every time you want to do something different. I much prefer paper too, so I can do what I want to do. Not what a computer expects me to. Mireya was wanting to be a lawyer then realized she wanted to be in graphic design. Her degree is in Bachelors of fine arts. I would say that is very interesting. She says that people can be interested in various of things, like how I'm interested in fashion design.

For example I might be interested in design, and my friend wants to be a dance teacher. She went to the arts center In Pasadena California. I think it is wonderful that they don't just focuses on graphic design. They focus on every design you can think of. They do different kinds of art like transportation design making cars. You name it they have it.

For Mireya she has two parts to her job, doing buissness and making the designs. Did you know that Mireya is a very successful buisness woman? It is interesting to me how she stays afloat without piling up all of the papers. Mireya focuses on what people like, so for instance she thinks babies will like something that has bright colors. She's right, babies do like a lot of bright colors. I can expect elementary school kids to love rainbows and baby blue. Most people like the color baby blue right? Right!

If you look at it this way you see Mireya taught me a life long lesson. One, be yourself. It does not matter what other people want you be. Be what you want to. Two, do what you love. Like I love art and design. I should not be doing what my friend likes, do what I like. Although it is true you should not be something your not. Three, accept. People don't need to accept you for being cool. Be accepted for what you are. Like people don't judge a book by it's cover. I think that is a good saying, because you might not like what the cover looks like but you probaly like what it's about.

This week we interviewed a interesting person named Chris! Did you know Chris is the Co- founder of the teaching app Educreations? Chris went to University of California at Berkeley. His degree is in computer science. He said computer programming is like speaking another language, like Latin.

He is interested in education partially because some time in his life people he knew were involved with teaching. His idea for Educreations was while he was at a computer company when he, and a friend wanted to do something more interesting. Educreations is a place where anyone can easily create video lessons. He gets feedback from users who uses Educreations so he can make updates, and make Educreations more interesting.

He believes you should enjoy where you are working, and you should be comfortable where your at. He said If your thinking about what to eat your not as likely to want to work until you get something in your stomach. He also said If you stay in one place for 9-10 hours it is most likely you'll go crazy. When he was in 6th grade his teacher Mr. Peach bought computers, so Chris decided that he wanted to be a person who works with computers.
Or can you?
This week we interviewed a interesting person. Her name is Jackie! Jackie says she have to triple check her work before she can publish. She said if you put the wrong information on the internet the person you are talking about could sue you. Jackie likes working with college students, and Jackie likes working with them because they are fun and interesting. They are also learning and growing about themselves and the world.

At first she wanted to be a dentist, but then her counselor Scott wanted her to do something completely different. Her advice is when you are checking your work ask yourself How do I know this? Jackie said reviewing your work is very important, and sometimes your first idea is not your best idea. Part of her job is to critique a student's work in the newspaper, and she said you want to be sure all of your facts are true. Jackie said if you publish something incorrect it is hard to get it back, and your reputation can be damaged.

At first she wanted to be a dentist, but then her counselor Scott wanted her to do something completely different. Her counselor Scott was her inspiration to become a journalist. The most important thing she learned in school is always ask for help. If you don't try you won't succeed. Her advice for the Classs of 2025 is to work hard from the start. Don't forget that you can do anything, so don't let yourself get in the way of your dreams. I appreciate you reading my blog. I will interview someone very intersting, so stay tuned for next week's blog.

Elezibeth was a shy kid in elementary and high school. Liz went to IU because of the arts and programs. When she was in college she teamed up with a teacher and she took little steps. Later on she was ready for a new step to be an intern. Did you know she is a client at Myron's fitness business company? Liz checks her emails daily to make sure she doesn't miss any important messages or clients. She also works with clients like Selena Gomez and Taylor swift. She does press releases of the celebrities wearing the clothing that Christopher Cota designed and put them in magazines, and articles. Christopher mostly focuses on making women's clothes.

She used to be in a council program that helped adults stop with their problems like drugs, alcohol, abuse, and other things. Elizebeth said" when you graduate or grow to old for a school you become a alumni". Liz also. mentioned that "if you want to be a fashion designer you can look in a magazine and see the kind of taste they have for clothing". Elizabeth was inspired by the things she saw throughout her whole life. She is still deciding what to do with her life and what she wants to be.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15656263424517857179noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998284824853573221.post-49204006249025577902013-10-31T11:23:00.001-07:002013-12-04T11:13:54.469-08:00Myron And His Life Priority!!!This week we interviewed Myron! Myron was born in Flint Michigan. He is the middle child in the family. While he found hisself fascinated with engineering throughout his whole life he was thinking about the right college. While that was happening Myron was thinking about a college that has a good construction program. Myron also graduated high school with honor rolls. He chose to go to Michigan State University because of the programs and events. Did you know that he was in college with his sister and looked out for her? His degrees are in building construction, and life coach certification.

After he graduated he moved right to Los Angeles California because he wanted to go somewhere warm. Myron decided to make his own business while he was there. A piece of advice he gave me was " keep eating healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, and dairy". Another peice of advice he gave me was " it's alright to change you mind every once in a while. He also said" it is hard to keep two buisnesses under controll and get them the attention the needed. His location is in New York City, NY. An interesting fact about Myron is he likes to get to know you before he talks with you.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15656263424517857179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998284824853573221.post-72274474612884480372013-10-11T10:07:00.001-07:002013-11-13T10:47:24.532-08:00The Woman In RealityThis week we interviewed Leigh!

Leigh is a real estate broker and she helps people get homes. Leigh worked for her dad and she got to drive the tractor when she was 13 years old. LEIGH was a undergraduate student at Florda ST. University until she realized that someone was better at the piano than she was. Her job right now is at RE/MAX EXECUTIVE REALITY. After she transferred to Chappell hill she had to get a full time job to pay for college pretty soon she paid all her depth.

Her degree was in Buisness Administration and a peice of advice she gave me was don't be what people want you yo be. If you want to know what it's like in New York City this is what it's like big, busy, and it's the land of opportunities. When you are posting on Facebook, Twitter, and google, she is monitoring what you are posting and if it is not appropriate you can't get a job because of what you posted in the past. It takes two hours to get from he apartment to her job can you sit on a train that long? Her advice is keep reading when you read you make your brain neurons and connections grow. She went to college at Indiana university and it is a college where you can get fashion designing scholarships she changed her mind. One interesting fact about Emily is that she is a believer she never gives up even if the challenge is very hard.

Emily's degree is in merchandising and it is cool because with that degree you can get a job that involves merchandising. Emily's current job is at M Booth that is somewhere in New York. Her job includes working with technology and computers. which is cool because some jobs uses papers and envelopes to send things and her job uses the mailing internet services to mail things to one another. Another piece of advice she gave us is have fun while you still can because you can't stay young forever. She changed her mind to be a digital strategist instead of a fashion designer.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15656263424517857179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998284824853573221.post-18330979613120717852013-09-25T09:08:00.001-07:002013-11-13T10:38:54.413-08:00MY DEGREE IN COLLEGE!!!!!!This week I completed a project that took two weeks long!

When I did this I chose to go to Indiana university. When I graduate I will go back to college for a fashion design degree. I will go to Bloomington in the state of indiana so I can attend the college. The mascot is the Indiana Hoosiers and if I can attend the games I can see the mascot. The reason I chose this college was because it can teach me how to design art and fabric.

It was founded on January 20, 1820. The number of undergraduate students at my school is 32,543.

I chose this degree because I love drawing and art. When this happens when I get my degree I plan to go to New York City. It is a big place and gives the best opportunities to grow your talent. I also want to meet some of the best places in New York City the place I choose to go to is the sandwich shop. While I'm there I can get a agent so I don't get my reputation stolen, copied, or lost.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15656263424517857179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998284824853573221.post-55438246467689261932013-09-10T17:41:00.001-07:002013-09-10T17:41:56.400-07:00ONE OF THE LUCKIEST MEN ON EARTH!!!!!one of the luckiest men on earth !!!!!

This week we interviewed there are pices of advice he gave me and this is what he said " never give up on what you want to do". He also said "once you have a good job don't turn it down because it can be a once in a lifetime opportunity". His favorite subject in school was art because you can express your ideas and he liked to be an arcitech because you can desingn buildings and express you ideas or feelings for art by drawing it out. He discribes his job as a little hard, fun, and scary. I would think it would be fun drawing pictures of buildings and making them come to life. He also said when you have something it always doesn"t half to be perfect. Once you do something and you turn back it will be a dissapointing turn back because you worked so hard for it then they just say forget about it. From me I would give Michel an A for designing safe buildings to live or work in.
